How to reach (transport) Gulhi Island Maldives?
Gulhi is just 25 minutes (21KM) speedboat ride from the Velana International Airport (MLE). People who travel to Gulhi either take the public ferryboat (MTCC ferryboat service) or use speedboat ferry service. Currently, a scheduled speedboat ferry service operates, between the airport – Malé – Gulhi daily. The Speedboat ferryboat departs Male’ from JETTY No 1 – Opposite Maldives Monetary Authority Building (MMA).

Public Ferryboat Service

MTCC ferryboat Route 311 serves three islands in South Malé Atoll. Gulhi is first stop the ferryboat makes after leaving Malé the capital island. The other two islands are Maafushi and Guraidhoo in this route.

There is only one service daily (EXCEPT FRIDAYS AND MONDAYS) which leaves from Malé at 15:00rs in the afternoon from MTCC/Villingili ferry terminal. Tickets are sold on the day of travel.  The return ferryboat services leave Gulhi at 08:00hrs in the morning.
